Larry’s career in Hollywood began in front of the camera. Some might recognize Larry from his days as a child actor in the role of Ritchie Petrie on “The Dick Van Dyke Show.” After 6 years on the show, from age 5 to 11, Mazzeo worked in theater around Los Angeles and graduated from UCLA in Theater Arts. Mazzeo took a position at Danny Thomas Productions coordinating postproduction for TV specials and movies of the week, then moved to post coordinator for several Witt/Thomas/Harris series that included “Soap” and “Benson.” Mazzeo’s experience in postproduction led to a senior marketing position in one of Hollywood’s venerable film labs, CFI, where he learned the intricacies of feature film and video postproduction. Mazzeo rounded out his experience in television postproduction at several LA facilities – Varitel, Anderson Video, 4MC – before joining Matchframe.
