
As VP of Business Development, Mike draws on his extensive background in a wide range of film and television markets to expand Matchframe’s client base by diversifying the application of Matchframe’s services. Mike is responsible for introducing clients to the increasing range of Matchframe’s talent and technology that apply to a wide spectrum of markets such as reality series, variety specials, music videos, network promos and HD feature trailers, as well as DVD supplemental bonus material. A veteran in post facilities sales, Mike sees his role as a combination of producer and matchmaker, finding the perfect match between a client’s needs and the technology and artist’s working style so that the finished product is a reflection of a smooth and efficient relationship.
A graduate of St. John’s University in New York with a degree in marketing, Moving to Complete Post for a 5-year period, Mike was promoted from account executive to sales manager before accepting a position at LA Digital as COO. There he oversaw the company’s rapid growth in the Avid rental market. He later rejoined Complete Post for another 4 years as VP of Sales, helping to diversify the company’s services in a variety of markets, including the then new feature film DVD market. Mike helped his clients with the creation of bonus material for laser disc releases of feature films and later adapted those services for application to the new DVD format. Mike later moved to Keep Me Posted where he expanded their sales and client base and, after the company was acquired by Fotokem, he joined Matchframe in 2004.
